Patterns
A game for children aged 3 to 5: look at the row of shapes and pick what comes next. Practices spotting simple two- and three-shape patterns.
What it practices
Seeing what comes next
Five short rounds. Each round raises the difficulty a little and gives a star. Missing costs nothing: the game simply invites another look.
How to join in
- Read the row out loud with rhythm: "circle, star, circle, star...".
- Make patterns with kitchen things: spoon, fork, spoon, fork.
- Clapping and walking have patterns too: loud, soft, loud, soft.
